Reasons to Thank Your HVAC Technician This Summer

Reasons to Thank Your HVAC Technician This SummerOn June 22, you’ll have reason to pause for a moment and be thankful. Why? It’ll be National HVAC tech day, the second best and if you don’t know why that’s a good cause to celebrate, we’re happy to fill you in.

Finding the Right HVAC Tech

Your HVAC tech is a highly trained, skillful and experienced professional with the qualifications it takes to work on your heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. As the weather heats up, we all understand how important it is to keep these systems running right. In the fall, as the weather cools and we schedule our annual furnace maintenance, we will once again want to be ready for the worst weather Mother Nature can deliver in our region. Finding a trusted HVAC company with the kinds of top-level pros you want to hire can assure you that you and your family will be comfortable, no matter the season.

What Would We Do Without HVAC?

Imagine our world without the comfort of HVAC, which really began in the early 1900s with new inventions such as residential A/Cs, and advancements with older technology such as thermostats and furnaces with blowers. Prior to these innovations in residential heating and cooling, people sweltered in the summer, and in winter, suffered through often smoky, stuffy and unsafe conditions in the home in order to stay warm. The southern regions of our country were not attractive places to be in the summer; even in our own region, summer is sticky and warm enough for life to come to a standstill when the A/C shuts down. In winter, the majority of us are relieved to no longer be forced to burn wood to keep warm.

Today most of us take the presence of HVAC in homes and in public places for granted. But when we have a breakdown, we remember how important it can be to have the right HVAC tech to call for help.
